Liverpool Botanical Society (LBS) collects, holds and uses the following types of data from members: Name; Address; Telephone number; Email address.
We require and use this information to manage your membership of the Society and to inform you of and run our meetings and activities. We also maintain a list of previous members’ names to provide an archive record of Society membership.
We will not use this information for anything else unless you give us your consent for that additional use. We will not give your data to third parties to use. We do not send out marketing or promotional communications.
If you cease your membership of the Society, we will stop using and delete any data we do not need to keep.
We may take photos of attendees at our outdoor and indoor meetings. We may publish these on our website and our Facebook page. We may publish video recordings of indoor meetings on YouTube. We do this to provide a record of our meetings and to inform others about Society activities. We will inform attendees of this at meetings and ask them to tell us if they do not wish their images to be used.
You can request that we provide access to, update, correct, stop using or delete any information we hold on you, at any time. To request any of these please contact the Honorary Secretary [email protected]
